I was told to come here by a friend who saw their cute ice cream on instagram. I am a mom of 2 littles so I took the drive and I’m so glad I did. The ice cream is SO good and the best part is the surprise cute faces they put on the ice cream. I highly recommend!!

“1,000 stars” is what my six-year-old daughter said she’d rate Scoop and Joy. It’s such a fun ice cream shop! They have lots of flavors of ice cream and lots of unique cones like pretzel cones, chocolate chip cones, and more. When you order, the staff ask if you want the “surprise.” Say yes. They will create an animal or face from candy like little cookies, M&Ms, and more. My daughter got such a kick out of it!

It's a nice quick ice cream stop with my family. There are plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from. Our 5yo daughter enjoyed the ice cream so much. The staff was so friendly. We love this place. Next time we'll try the boba drinks.

The ice cream are delicious. And they make surprises on top of your ice cream that looks like this. Staff is really friendly and they have plenty of ice cream flavours dairy non dairy boba tea and more. The two ice cream flavour i got is cookie and cream on the left and lemon on right

This was the first time I visited and the many ice cream flavors were so wonderful. They served so many different options for sundaes, smoothies, Boba, ice cream, and even some Dole Whip plus more. DJ was amazing!!! He served and got the ice cream ready. Did it with a HUGE SMILE. Even though we had a large party, he never showed he was overwhelmed one bit. I highly recommend going to go see DJ. They even serve the ice cream with a "Surprise".

My daughter and I treated my dad to this fun ice cream spot. We were asked if we wanted a surprise and of course I declined and my daughter did not. We have gone back many times since and I always say yes to the surprise as it makes me smile! Thus the name scoop and J😊Y❣️. See photos below to see surprise examples… …

This is a fun and delicious ice cream shop for the whole family. Locally owned, they're known for their huge selection of rotating flavors and cute faces they add to each scoop. The kids loved the faces on their ice cream. They have many types of cones and cups, too. Excellent service to boot.

First time here and really chose this place as a good half way point between New River and Gilbert. What we found was a great place with hard working, friendly and helpful staff, lots of great flavors for ice cream and snacks and good options for seating, including outside tables which was our preference. That would have all been enough but we got "a surprise" on each of our cones!! When asked if we wanted these, I didn't have a reference and wondered about an extra charge. But, for no additional charge, they put The cutest little faces on the cones. Huge bonus!! I'm sure we'll be meeting up here again as this was quite the treat!! :-)
